I think times are improving. Biden doing a good job in difficult times.There is a serious war going on. We almost lost our Democracy to a Ex President denying the results of an election. My suggestion get rid of Electoral College, and add more judges progressive ones toSupreme court,and time limits to Supreme Court.
If there were NO nightly news life would just go on as normal. The news are the biggest contributors to panic buying and worrying about the cost of daily living. It is what it is you to buy or not, you travel or not. It’s that simple.
The major driver of inflation is the war against Fossil fuel by the inept administration. Trying to drop fossil fuel without a plan and something ready to go in place is disastrous to the economy and the country. The Grid in its current state can not support the fantasy they speak of, it will takes years, meanwhile the people will suffer and be glad they are.
Our economy is still adjusting to Covid and Trump’s manipulation of the stock market and trade deals. This is happening in other places as well. We seem to be slowly moving forward to a better economy. The question I commented on had to do with Trump having classified files that should not have been anywhere but the capital. Trump seems to think that he can do what he wants and he doesn’t have to worry about being held accountable. No one is above the law and that includes him. He can’t even be questioned about his actions because he can’t tell the truth. He should be blocked from ever being eligible to hold any office again. He served himself and Putin the 4 years he was in office and this Country cannot stand another 4 years of his kind of politics.

Inflation is real and both food and gas prices are hurting. However, corporate greed and a slow supply chain are real too.

I always associate a recession with high unemployment. Economy is just bouncing around in reaction. It will settle down further.
